One small hurdle

HurdleToday we took Rylee to the pediatrician for a follow-up visit for her little stay in the nicu. She had a great check up and then we headed back to the hospital to have her blood drawn, one more time, to check her bilirubin levels. Today is day 4 and the big day of needing the level to be in the normal range. We just got the call that her level is the same as it was yesterday which means she is over the last hurdle from her nicu days. Yay!

It’s a relief to know that she is now on her way to being healthy and the testing is over. Now we can plan a day at home together as a family for tomorrow with no interruptions. We’re all looking forward to it. Maybe we can all actually get some rest too. Ahhh….rest.

Rylee’s Home, Rylee’s Home!

Welcome Baby We are very excited that this afternoon, around 4pm, Rylee Erin arrived at our new home, which we were able to find and purchase thanks to Eddie Yan realtor; she was soon greeted by a very excited Jaxon. He just could not sniff the carrier or her enough. He was so excited he truly didn’t know what to do with himself. It was amusing to watch him.

She is currently taking a snooze until her next feeding. She’s seen her cute nursery and met the friends who will keep her company in her big crib. It’s amazing how tiny she looks in the crib! Her stuffed friends are all bigger than she is.

We can’t tell you how happy we are to have her home here with us.
