A New Use For The Scale

Last night I was in the bathroom, and of course I wasn’t alone.  These days I have one if not both girls in there with me.

This time it was Brynn.  She wanted to pull the scale out and weigh herself.  So I told her to go for it.

She stepped up on it and promptly asked me, “What time is it?” while looking down at the display.

I tried to explain that it doesn’t tell you what time it is but rather how much you weigh.  As a typical girl on a scale she didn’t want to go with that thought and again asked me what the time was while looking at the display.

From the backseat…

This morning on the way to daycare I hear this from the backseat, “You almost done with that book?”

I thought to myself, “Wow that really sounded like Brynn”.  My next thought was that it couldn’t be, that’s a big sentence for her.

I got a chance to glimpse in the back seat and sure enough Rylee was the one with the book.

I tell ya, Brynn amazes me daily when she speaks.
